Wars
HOW TO DECLARE A WAR
You must be in a faction to declare a war, and your faction must also own at least one territory.
You can't declare a war on a faction if both you and its leader have had an official war in which you were the leaders in the past week.
You can only declare war on a faction if they own more than one territory.
Choose what territories you want to contest. They must be owned by the faction you're declaring on, and they must all connect to each other and your faction's home territory.
You must have a siegeable structure in every territory you want to contest.
To actually declare a war, post this in the #conflicts channel of our Discord server:
War
The faction you want to declare the war on
Coordinates of all your siegeable structures, as well as descriptions of where their capture areas are
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN A WAR IS DECLARED?
Staff will check if your bases are siegeable.
Staff will also ensure you are the owner (or co-owner) of the bases you submitted.
If everything's in order, staff will confirm in #conflicts that your war is valid, and post an official message in #conflict-info.
If something's wrong, a member of staff will tell you why in #conflicts. You will have to re-declare if you still want to have a war.
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN A WAR IS ACCEPTED?
Wars take place over multiple real-life days, or even weeks.
Firstly, the players involved must organise an official battle. The battle must take place inside one of the contested territories.
If the defenders win the battle, they have two options:
End the war and gain two weeks of immunity from any territory conflict being declared by any member of the attacking faction.
Counter-attack: choose one of the attacking faction's adjacent territories to siege. If the war defenders win this siege, they will gain 20,000 coins multiplied by the number of originally contested territories as a loss penalty from the leading attacker. If they lose this siege, the war goes back to its original state and a new battle will be fought.
If the attackers win the battle, they must siege one of the defenders' siege bases in one of the contested territories - the defenders can choose which one. If the attackers win the siege, they win the war and take all the contested territories. If they lose, the war goes back to its original state and a new battle will be fought.
A date and time must be sorted out within one week of the initial declaration, and also between each conflict, or the war will be cancelled. A forfeit may also be in order if there is evidence to show purposeful avoidance.
RECREATIONAL WARS
Recreational wars are like normal wars, except they are agreed on for fun and there is no conquest involved.
Sieges and battles in the war will be classed as recreational.
