Divisons

- The Special Enforcement Detail, or SED for short, is LASD’s highly trained SWAT team. Our focus is teamwork, precision, and handling the most high-risk situations. That includes everything from hostage rescues and barricaded suspects to active shooters and high-risk apprehensions. The Detective Bureau is a division that focuses on investigating organized crimes, spying on high-risk suspects and investigating homicides. Detective Bureau interrogates suspects and coordinates with other detective divisions from other departments. 

Training Division is specialized in teaching skills. As the name says, we are a division who trains Academy Cadets. We are responsible for preparing all LASD deputies to uphold standards.

Internal Affairs, otherwise Professional Standards Division. IA's objective is to look for deputies' misconduct, handling tickest and answering questions. 

Sheriff's Information Bureau is a sort of Media Division. They do not operate in-game or in training server, SIB's main task is to engage outsiders to joining LASD. 

Our job as investigators, as we work for the Operation Safe Streets Bureau, is to provide personnel in uniforms to direct patrols with gangs that can be violent or aggressive in our City. Our job is to keep Gangs and cartels away and behind bars in our city, and we focus on and primarily target gangs and cartel lords' high-risk warrants and serving the community when it needs it the most. We also help the civic part of the community and help this city clean up after cartels and Mafias. 

The Hostage Negotiation Unit, or HNU, is a specialized team of deputies trained to handle crisis communication. We’re the first to make contact in standoff situations, hostage incidents, or mental health crises. Our job is to resolve high-stakes scenarios through communication and strategy—not force. If you’ve got the patience, mindset, and discipline for negotiation, we want to hear from you. 

The Emergency Services Detail, or ESD, is made up of specially trained paramedics and rescue personnel working under LASD. We operate across both the Sheriff’s Department and Fire Department, responding to critical medical and rescue calls involving community members and law enforcement.
