Teenworks
Assistant Supervisor
While working at Teenworks, I managed a group of teens at a farm that provided food for a community that was considered a "food desert". As supervisor assistant, I managed the teens attendance and productivity on and off the farm. I learned how to associate an individuals work ethic to character traits that could be beneficial in future positions. This position taught me many things but most of all I learned the importance of a team working together to complete a task that was time sensitive. In my future positions I would take my experience to manage a team while exemplifying participatory leadership.

Receptionist
Alden Poplar Creek was a very fast-paced environment. Patients were in and out of the facility and I would assist with that process. Being reception I learned what it meant to represent an organization and how first impressions can matter. I was responsible for connecting the nurses in the facility and the doctors from the hospital. This experience taught me how to work in a environment that provides short-term rehabilitation services. I feel, from this experience, I will now take my ability to maintain interactions between myself and the patients/families into my future positions.
