Lori Hunter is an artist and art educator living and working in the Philadelphia area. Lori studied fine art at Temple University’s Tyler School of Art and received a master’s degree in teaching visual arts from the University of the Arts. While much of the focus of her career has been in art education, she has continued her artistic practice throughout the years, and is now working to get it out into the public eye.
My work examines the lives of women- how we are perceived, and how we deal with the ever more chaotic and unraveling state of modern society. We fight to keep our heads above water, to stay sane, to push forward, and to get through each day with strength, dignity, and hope for the future.
