• 20% Participation- Daily points are given for consistent effort in classroom activities
• The Art Department will follow all procedures for make-up work as stated in the Student Handbook
• All extenuating circumstances for incomplete work will be dealt with on an individual basis. Teacher must be contacted by student/parent to establish a plan for the completion of work.
• It is the student’s responsibility to take the initiative for making up the work in a reasonable amount of time.
• Most materials will be provided by the NHS Art Department. However, individual teachers may require students to bring in items from home to complete or individualize certain projects. Failure to do so may negatively a student’s grade. Such materials should not require any money outlay, as most requests are for “found objects”.
