Meet Lorenz

My name is Kathy Lorenz, and I am so proud to be an art teacher at Newark High School! This year I am teaching Ceramics 1, Ceramics 2, Ceramics 3, and Tech Rotation Art and advising our NHS Art Club. After growing up in Dover, Ohio and graduating from Dover High School in 1997, I attended Bowling Green State University. I had a double major of Art Education and Ceramics, and I earned my BFA in 2002. I earned my MA in Curriculum and Instruction from Mount Vernon Nazarene University in 2006. This is my 19^th year of teaching, and I look forward to many more here at NHS—GO CATS!
