Lorenzo Bertizzolo

Lorenzo is a Wireless Systems Engineer at Apple working on 5G cellular software for iOS.
He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Engineering at the Institute for the Wireless Internet of Things at Northeastern University, under Prof. Tommaso Melodia. Previously, he earned his B.S. and his M.S. in Computer and Communication Networks Engineering with honors from Politecnico di Torino, Italy.
In 2019, he was a Research Intern at AT&T Labs Research in Bedminster, NJ, and then a collaborator working on integrating Drone communications into the next generations' cellular networks. In 2020, he was a Software Engineer Intern at Google in the Network Infrastructure Team in Sunnyvale, CA.
His research focus is 5G/6G networks, software-defined networking for wireless systems, MIMO communications, and non-terrestrial UAV Networks.
