Learning Opportunities Program (LOP)
Providing Literacy, Basic Essential Skills Education and Training to Adults.
Literacy and basic skills training, including numeracy, digital, communication and interpersonal skills; helps learners prepare for employment, apprenticeship, secondary-school credit, post-secondary education and greater independence
Small group instruction, one-to-one tutoring, scheduled customer service and cashier training, computer-based training, including distance E-Learning.
Target Groups are individuals who are unable to finish high school, have been out of school for a while, want to strengthen or upgrade their literacy skills, or self-manage and self-direct.
