Salmon Point:
Salmon Point is a private residential community located on the South End of Lopez Island, in the San Juan archipelago, of Washington State. The point “creates” MacKay Harbor to the North (The best Southern protected harbor in the San Juan Islands), Barlow Bay to the East, and Outer Bay (Agate Beach) to the South. The southern side of Outer bay is created by Iceberg Point, the southern-most tip of Lopez.
The South-end of Lopez is the most rugged, remote and private section of the island and includes the majority of the “best” accessible public lands on the island.
Salmon Point encompasses 106 acres and includes 14 private residences. Approximately 17% of the point’s acreage is set aside as “Common-land” for the exclusive use of the owners. This common land includes large accessible no-bank beaches, a productive apple and pear orchard, and an interior forested area with large “old-growth” fir trees. There is an extensive trail system throughout the point for exclusive use by the owners.
All roads are paved and maintained by the community.
Utilities are all underground and each property has fiber optics access.
The community has one of the best water systems in the San Juan’s, which is professionally maintained. The water is clear, clean, plentiful, and tastes great.
Salmon Point is truly one of the most spectacular pieces of real estate in the San Juan Island’s and properties rarely come on the market. There is no undeveloped property available.
42 Bumblebee Place, includes 4.2 acres, half of which is forested and half fenced to keep the resident Deer at bay. There are beautiful meadows where our resident deer are born and raised. The property boasts spectacular gardens with outdoor living spaces including a water feature with (3) waterfalls and (3) ponds, an outdoor fireplace with gas log lighter and tiki torches. Installed night-lighting, outdoor speakers, and an irrigation system all contribute to this magical entertainment and garden area. The property is sited on one of the only private sandy beaches in the San Juan Islands.
