A few weeks ago, I was discussing the different ways 4X games creates military units out of population, when a reddit user introduced me to Thea: The Awakening. The rest, as the saying goes, was history. I looked into the game and immediately bought it, spent a few hours playing the tutorial, and started recording. The videos are available in this playlist for your viewing pleasures.
The game has deep references to Slavic mythology, and I will try to link to the appropriate sources whenever I can find them. The pages will have a lot of internal links to cross reference the events, characters, and locations. I recommend that you right-click (or long press, etc.) and open them in new tabs. Please keep in mind that these reference pages may contain spoilers, as many of them contain detailed history of such events, characters, or locations.
In the first few parts, I will go into more details at each encounter, as they have bigger effects. As time go on, I will focus more on the important events and skip over the less important ones.
Lastly, I will try to keep all out-of-character comments on this page as to keep the stories themselves clean.
P.S. Since Thea 2 has been announced, I'll try to work that into the story somehow.
