On Saturday, November 4th, a group of 10-15 high school twirlers will be selected based on twirler resume/video and short essay to shadow the Showband of the Southwest and experience a day in the life of the UT Feature Twirler. You’ll spend Game Day with the Longhorn Band—attend morning rehearsal, eat the pregame meal, march to the stadium with the band, field access and pictures with Texas icons, and cheer the Longhorns to victory.

The twirlers will be performing between the 3rd and 4th quarter for a special performance for 100,000+ fans!

Twirlers will be notified by October 1st if they have been chosen for the game day experience. 

On Sunday, November 5th, from 8:30am to 12:30pm, twirlers 3rd grade and up are invited to join us on the UT Campus for our Feature Twirler Clinic. Taught by UT Feature Twirler Aidyn Mentry and former University of Texas Feature Twirlers, classes will focus on feature twirler skills such as traveling tricks, multiple baton, performance and showmanship - all the tools you need to succeed as a school twirler at any level. The clinic will conclude with a showcase of the skills you’ve learned and a photo & autograph session with the UT Feature Twirler! Parents, coaches, and twirlers are invited to stay after the clinic for a 20-minute info session on the Texas Feature Twirler audition process.

Cost of the clinic is $50 and includes a clinic t-shirt. Proceeds go to the University of Texas Feature Twirler Scholarship.
