WHAT DOES MY CHILD NEED FOR SCHOOL?
Children need a bag lunchbox, drink bottle and wide-brimmed school hat everyday. A library bag will be needed to borrow books from the library each week.
Please ensure all items are clearly labelled with your child's name so they can be easily returned if lost.
Please also include a change of clothes (socks, underwear, shorts/skorts or dress) just in case of an accident.
CELEBRATING BIRTHDAYS AT SCHOOL
If you wish for your child to celebrate their birthday with their peers, we ask that you check with your child's teacher regarding class numbers and any allergies or dietary restrictions. Small cupcakes are easiest for teachers to manage.
SCHOOL UNIFORMS
Londonderry PS school uniforms can be purchased through the school canteen.
WHAT ARE THE BELL TIMES AT LONDONDERRY PUBLIC SCHOOL ?
School starts at 9:00 am and finishes at 3:00 pm
Recess eating time 10:55 - 11:05 am; Recess play 11:05 - 11:30 am
Lunch eating time 1:20 - 1:30 pm; Lunch play 1:30 - 2:00 pm
WHAT IS CRUNCH & SIP ?
At Londonderry Public School we encourage our students to lead healthy, active lives.
To ensure your child has plenty of energy to make it through the day they should come to school with plenty of fruit, water and nutritious snacks.
The Munch & Move website provides lots of great advice for families.
