Terms of Service for London Quest

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the London Quest mobile application ("App") provided by London Quest ("we", "us", or "our"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

3. Account

You may create an account using Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You may delete your account at any time from the Settings screen within the App.

4. Subscription Terms

4.1 London Quest Pro

The App offers an optional auto-renewing subscription ("London Quest Pro") that provides access to AI-powered trail creation features.

4.2 Pricing and Billing

• The subscription is billed monthly at the price displayed at the time of purchase.

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.

• Your subscription automatically renews each month unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.

• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price.

4.3 Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time through your device's Settings > Your Name > Subscriptions > London Quest. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to Pro features until the end of your paid period.

4.4 Free Trial

If a free trial is offered, it will be clearly indicated before purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

5. User-Generated Content

5.1 Your Content

You may create and publish trails, submit reviews, and participate in the leaderboard. You retain ownership of the content you create but grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display and distribute your content within the App.

5.2 Content Standards

You agree not to publish content that:

• Is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or obscene

• Infringes on any intellectual property or other rights of any party

• Contains personally identifiable information of others without their consent

• Is spam, advertising, or commercial solicitation

• Contains malicious content or is intended to harm other users

5.3 Content Moderation

All user-generated content is subject to automated moderation before publication. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms without notice. If your content is rejected by our moderation system, you may contact us to appeal the decision.

5.4 Reporting

If you encounter content that violates these Terms, you may report it using the report function within the App. We will review all reports and take appropriate action.

6. AI-Generated Content

The App uses artificial intelligence to generate trail suggestions for Pro subscribers. AI-generated content is provided as a starting point and may contain inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing any AI-generated content before publishing it.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose

• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the App or its systems

• Interfere with or disrupt the App's operation

• Use the App to harass, abuse, or harm others

• Create multiple accounts for abusive purposes

8. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, features, and content (excluding user-generated content), is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App.

9. Disclaimers

• The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

• We do not guarantee the accuracy of location data, quest information, AI-generated content, or any other content within the App.

• You use location-based features at your own risk. Always be aware of your surroundings and follow local laws and regulations when exploring.

• We are not responsible for any injuries or damages that may occur while using the App.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated Terms within the App. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time for violation of these Terms. You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
