This Privacy Policy describes how London Quest ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our mobile application ("App").
Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account using Sign in with Apple, we collect:
Your Apple ID email address (or relay email if you choose to hide your email)
Display name you provide
Profile photo URL (if provided)
Location Information
We collect your device's location when you use the App to:
Show nearby quests and landmarks
Track your exploration progress
Detect when you arrive at quest destinations
Location data is collected only while the App is in use. We do not track your location in the background.
Game Progress Data
We collect and store your gameplay data including:
Experience points (XP) and level
Completed quests and trails
Earned badges and achievements
Daily and weekly challenge progress
Streak information (consecutive days played)
User-Generated Content
If you choose to create and publish content, we collect:
Custom trails you create (stops, descriptions)
Reviews and ratings you submit for trails
Trail likes
Usage Information
We collect information about how you use the App:
AI trail generation usage (for Pro subscribers)
Preferences (such as haptic feedback settings)
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
Provide and operate the App's features
Track your game progress and achievements
Display leaderboards (only if you opt in)
Enable you to create and share custom trails
Moderate user-generated content for appropriateness
Process your Pro subscription
Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored using:
Firebase (Google Cloud): Account information, game progress, and user-generated content are stored on Firebase servers located in the United States
Local Device Storage: Game progress is cached locally for offline access
All data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS.

Leaderboard and Social Features
Participation in the leaderboard is optional. You can opt out at any time in Settings.
If you opt in, only your display name and XP score are visible to other users.
Reviews you submit are publicly visible along with your display name.
Custom trails you publish are visible to other users.
Data Retention
Your account data is retained as long as your account is active.
You can delete your account at any time from the Settings screen, which will remove all your data from our servers.
Locally cached data is automatically cleared after 7 days or when you uninstall the App.
Children's Privacy
London Quest is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
Access your personal data
Delete your account and associated data
Opt out of the leaderboard
Update your display name and profile
To exercise these rights, use the Settings screen in the App or contact us.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy in the App and updating the "Last Updated" date.
