Resources and References

Hey, thanks for checking out the site! On this page you'll find the various references and image sources used throughout this project as well as some useful external links to assessments and resources.

Resources

  • The Enneagram Institute: Another great introductory resource for all things Enneagram.

  • Eclectic Energies' Enneagram Test: this is a link to a site with a useful free version of the Enneagram assessment. After taking the test, you will see a list of a handful of types as your results. This lists identifies which type identifies most closely with you in descending order. This site also has great extensive explanations for each type.

  • Crystal Knows' Type Summaries: this is a link with clear, succinct summaries of each of the nine Enneagram types and each wing. So, you will find summaries of each core type (e.g. type 1) as well as a summary of what it each type looks like with each of its wings (e.g. 1w9 and 1w2). This is particularly useful if you're unsure of your wing. In that case, say if you're a type 5, read both the summary for 5w6 and 5w7 and see which suits you best. This site also has a useful Enneagram test, but it's a shorter, less comprehensive assessment.

  • Marina Diamandis' talk at Oxford College: Singer-songwriter Marina Diamandis offers some brilliant insight into pop culture and the power of pop music specifically: “I wanted to make pop music not for its sound, but because I saw it as a really clever tool that I could use to express unorthodox ideas to a really large audience”. A big fan of hers already, I found her talk to be particularly relevant to this project. With a barrier-breaking show such as this, with LOK introducing the first Queer characters on the network (Nickelodeon), Diamandis' take is useful in understanding the power representation like this can have.
