I want to create a sad, dramatic music video that shows the topic of toxic relationships. I want to include some sort of theme or colour which holds the storyline together and maybe even have a twist at the end. It will include a boy and a girl who share lots of loving memories, however they constantly fight. I will use the song "Last Train to London" by Mimi Webb because it is a slow Ballard song which would fit perfectly with the concept of my video.
Lipsync:
Long shots of the girl at the train station lipsyncing the song, beginning on the platform 'waiting for the train' then after the first chorus she will be sat on the train. Finally, for the bridge of the song she will be dramatically walking down the train. All while making eye contact with the camera.
Main Narrative:
She packs up all of her memories from his house before she gets the train home until she finds half of the picture that he ripped up. Then she walks around the house and gets bad flashbacks from their fights, which convinces her to leave however, he shows up at her door with the other half of the ripped picture.
Flashbacks:
Flashbacks to the fights will include a red light to convey love/anger.
Good flashbacks will be warm temp colour with a glow effect to imply that it is a nice memory.
An orange glare crosses the screen when the POV flashbacks from London appear.
