Algebra+ is a practical guide designed primarily for math teachers, but open to all educators eager to explore AI-powered teaching. This project brings together clear explanations, step-by-step guides, and short instructional videos to help you bring AI into your classroom with purpose.

The guide is divided into three main parts:
🔹 Creating Lessons – Plan, generate tasks, and differentiate with AI
🔹 Using AI in teaching – Use AI to support, engage, and personalize learning
🔹 Making Assessments – Summarize, give feedback, and reflect using AI tools

Whether you’re curious or committed to tech-enhanced teaching, Algebra+ gives you the tools to start smart.

The tools and strategies featured in Algebra+ represent a selection based on testing and research done by Mladen. A wide range of AI tools and classroom applications were looked over, but only included those that showed real, practical value for educators.

This is not a comprehensive or final list of all possible AI-supported tasks in math education. Instead, it’s a focused collection of what I found to be the most effective and user-friendly options that can make a meaningful difference in the classroom. The project was done with the help of Bjarnheiður Kristinsdóttir (project supervisor), Jonas Hall (interview participant), Ruth Tuschewski (interview participant) and Eglė Jocytė (interview participant).

As AI tools continue to evolve, so will the possibilities — and we encourage educators to explore, adapt, and share their own discoveries.
