I have always had a fascination with building and designing things. Legos are my favorite to build with when at home. The engineering field I would like to pursue is robotic engineering. I thought of robots as something fascinating. When I was in the 5th grade I was messing around with a robot the teacher let use. I found an interest in how all the parts worked together. I thought that the engineering field was a good choice when I later learned that in engineering I could look closer at how robots work.
So far I have taken computer coding and computer finance and data. Computer coding will help with the coding of robots I someday would like to make. The computer financing and data gave me the knowledge of using Word and Excel. I plan on taking a robotics class in the future. I am in the process of learning Arduino which is a coding platform.
I have done many extracurricular activities including wrestling, track, and marching band all of which have taught me something valuable. Wrestling taught me that if I do not persevere and push through the tough things in the way I will not get better. Track has taught me to lean on my team when I am struggling. Marching band has taught me that if I do not work together with my team I will fail.
Upon graduating high school I will go into the workforce because I would like to stay with my family and make some money. Then after a while, I will go to a 4 year college pursuing a master's in the field I have decided to follow. Working towards a master's degree is what I want because it will then give me the education I need to succeed in the field I decide to follow. A community college is what I will be going for if the 4-year college does not work so I can have at least a college education.
After all of this, I will strive to improve the community in any way I can through the field I follow. I will improve society the best I can with what I am able to do. I can do great things if I follow my dreams and do what I love. I will have a positive impact on changing the world for the better in the field I follow.
