Any canal requires ongoing maintenance and occasional repair.  After a few years of reduced care, the canal is getting some much-needed repairs to address breaches between the Logan North Field Canal and the Hyde Park Canal, which run parallel for much of their length. This may result in a slightly-delayed opening this year as repairs can only be conducted after the spring melt and before the opening of the canal.  We are making good progress and expect to have the canal open sometime after May 20 of this year.
