The Logan North Field Irrigation Company was created in 1903 to supply irrigation water through the center of Logan, Utah for use by townspeople. Still active today as a non-profit corporation, it supplies about 1500 shares of water to people thoughout its district.
The Logan North Field Canal starts at Center Street in Logan, near the Anniversary Inn, and continues northward crossing 400 North at the Intermountain Healthcare Logan Clinic. It runs parallel and adjacent to the Hyde Park Canal (which is on the uphill side of the Logan North Field Canal) for much of its length. It crosses 1400 North next to Lowe's Improvement Center, and finally turns westward along 2500 North, eventually emptying into the Logan Northwest Field Canal.
