Consultations
First Visit: The Consultation | $50
Come to your appointment with your hair clean. Please do not blow dry, straighten, or braid your hair in any way. Do not add any conditioner, oils or moisturizers. During the Consultation, it will consist of 3 parts: Information Gathering, Information Sharing, and Hair Observation.
Information gathering and information sharing allows us to discuss our personal hair care history and lifestyle. This determines if we are a great fit for this journey we are about to take on. Several sample locs will be placed in your hair and will be asked to wash them at least twice before your establishment. This will assist me in determining the correct loc size and pattern, how well the locs held, settling-in time, etc.
At the end of your consultation, you will be quoted a price for the establishment. Pricing depends upon hair length, density, and size of head. The Establishment will then be scheduled. A deposit is required to hold your appointment and will be applied towards the total of the 3-Visit Package.

Second Visit: The Establishment Session | $1200+
Please arrive for your establishment session with hair clean, air-dried, and free from any oils, conditioners, moisturizers, or grease. I schedule sessions over a 2/3 – day period. Please wear comfortable clothing, bring your favorite snacks, and lots of patience. I will provide snacks, water, streaming services, free Wi-Fi, and a comfortable atmosphere. At the end of the session, you will be given a Sunshine Starter Kit containing shampoo, rubber bands, q-tips, microfiber towel, witch hazel, satin scrunchy, Trust the Process plaque, and a tip sheet. OF COURSE….. you’ll also have your crown beautified with a whole new you.
Before you leave, we will schedule your follow-up visit in 4 weeks after the Establishment Session. It is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT you keep this appointment and all appointments that we schedule in the future, as good timely maintenance is the key to flourishing healthy locs over time.
Retightenings
Retightenings
Retightening/ Ongoing Maintenance | $190+
Once you have made the investment in getting your locs established, you will want to protect your investment. Retightening are LOW maintenance, not NO maintenance. It is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT to your development of your new locs to get regular retightening in order to incorporate the new growth and monitor the progress of your locs. The average time between visits is 4-8 weeks, depending on the hair type and rate of hair growth.
Hairline Retightening | $50+
Retightening of the first 2 rows around the hairline.
Grooming | $100+
In a grooming session, I will assess each loc individually and trim loose hairs that are escaping the locs and creating a fuzzy appearance. Please note: Grooming isn’t a necessary service, but some clients like more of a clean and neat look as opposed to a fuzzy look.
Loc Repairs | $75/hr+
Occasionally and overtime, you may find that your locs are not as uniform as you want them to be. This could represent bunching, a thin area in the loc, etc. This could be caused by many things such as medication, not drinking enough water, not eating properly or stress. I will address them as they present during your Retightening session. However, if there are lots of repairs, we will schedule a separate repair session just for this purpose.
