Lock In helps you earn screen time by completing push-ups. Your privacy matters to us.
Information We Collect
Lock In may collect or store:
- Your name or nickname, if you enter one during onboarding.
- Your onboarding choices, such as goals, age range, phone usage estimate, and distracting app choices.
- Workout progress, including push-up counts, unlocked minutes, personal records, and widget stats.
- Subscription status and purchase history through Apple and RevenueCat.
- Support information, such as your email address and message, if you contact us.
Camera and Body Tracking
Lock In uses your device camera to count push-ups with Apple’s on-device Vision body tracking.
Camera video is processed on your device. We do not upload, sell, or share your camera video. We do not use your camera for advertising.
Screen Time and App Blocking
If you choose to use app blocking, Lock In uses Apple Screen Time APIs, including Family Controls and Managed Settings, to let you select apps or categories to block.
Your selected apps are handled through Apple’s protected Screen Time system. Lock In uses this permission only to help block and unlock apps based on your earned minutes.
Subscriptions and Purchases
Lock In uses Apple In-App Purchase and RevenueCat to manage subscriptions, purchases, entitlement status, free trials, renewals, cancellations, and restore purchases.
We do not receive your full payment card number. Purchase processing is handled by Apple.
How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Track push-up progress.
- Calculate earned unlock minutes.
- Show stats, widgets, and progress.
- Manage subscriptions and access.
- Help you block selected distracting apps.
- Improve app reliability and support.
What We Do Not Do
We do not sell your personal information.
We do not upload camera video.
We do not use your camera feed for ads.
We do not access your full payment card details.
Data Storage
Most app data is stored locally on your device. Subscription and purchase status may be processed by Apple and RevenueCat.
If you delete the app, local app data may be removed from your device. Purchase records may remain with Apple or RevenueCat as required for billing, fraud prevention, tax, and legal purposes.
Third-Party Services
Lock In may use:
- Apple App Store and StoreKit for purchases.
- Apple Screen Time APIs for app blocking.
- Apple Vision for on-device body tracking.
- RevenueCat for subscription management.
Children’s Privacy
Lock In is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will help remove it where possible.
Your Choices
You can:
- Disable camera access in iOS Settings.
- Disable Screen Time permissions in iOS Settings.
- Restore or manage subscriptions through your Apple ID.
- Delete the app to remove local data.
- Contact us to request help with data questions.
