LocaTask (“the App”) respects and protects your privacy.

This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Information We Collect

The App may collect the following information:

1.1 Location Information

Used only for detecting when you enter a saved region (geofence) to trigger notifications.

Your precise location is never uploaded, shared, or stored on external servers.

1.2 Local App Data

All tasks, reminders, and history are stored locally on your device (Core Data).

If you use iCloud Sync, your data is stored securely in your private iCloud account.

1.3 Notifications

The App uses notifications to remind you when you enter a region or when a task is due.

We do not collect any notification data.

1.4 Ads & Analytics (if enabled)

• Google AdMob may collect anonymous usage data for advertising performance.

• No personally identifiable information is collected.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use your data only on your device for the following purposes:

• Manage and display your saved tasks

• Detect when you enter a saved region

• Send reminders and notifications

• Sync data with your iCloud (if enabled)

• Improve app performance and user experience

We never sell, share, or transfer your data to third parties.

3. Your Rights

You can:

• Disable notifications at any time

• Disable location access

• Enable/disable iCloud sync

• Delete all app data by deleting the app

4. Third-Party Services

The App may use:

• Apple iCloud (optional, for backup & sync)

• Google AdMob (for ads)

• Firebase Firestore (optional, for update checking only – no personal data sent)

Each third-party service follows its own privacy policy.

5. Children

The App does not target children under 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy occasionally.

Continued use of the App means you accept the updated policy.
