LocalPix (hereinafter: "app" or "the App") is created and published by Mehmet Ali Erbas under Turkish law (hereinafter: "LocalPix", "we", "us" or "our"). This Privacy Policy is compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR 2016/679). By using the App, you are consenting to our processing of data as set forth in this Privacy Policy.
The short version: LocalPix is designed so that your creative work never leaves your device. The App does not use advertising or analytics SDKs, does not require an account, and does not track you.
Section 1 - What data does the App obtain?
1.1 Data we do NOT collect - Your prompts, generated images, edited photos, and gallery are created and stored only on your device. They are never uploaded, analyzed, or shared. The App does not collect your name, email address, contacts, precise or approximate location, advertising identifiers, or browsing history, and it does not use third-party advertising or analytics services.
1.2 Purchase data - Purchases are processed by Apple. To unlock the features you paid for and to restore purchases across your devices, the App uses RevenueCat, a purchase-management service. RevenueCat receives an anonymous, randomly generated identifier and your App Store receipt - never your name, email address, or Apple ID. This data is used solely to validate purchases. 1.3 Model downloads - AI models are downloaded from our servers (hosted on Hugging Face) the first time you use them. These are standard file downloads; beyond what any internet connection technically requires (such as your IP address), no personal data is transmitted, and we do not log or store it.
1.4 Photos - If you use AI Edit, the App asks for access to the photo you choose; the photo is processed entirely on your device. If you save an image to your photo library, the App asks for add-only permission.
Section 2 - Data Sharing and Advertising
2.1 The App does not contain advertising and does not share your data with advertising networks or analytics companies.
2.2 To the extent any data is processed at all, we only use it in an anonymized, hashed or obfuscated way, and only to the extent required to provide our services.
2.3 We may disclose data (a) as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena or similar legal process, (b) when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request, and (c) with our trusted service providers (Apple and RevenueCat, as described above) who work on our behalf, do not have an independent use of the data we disclose to them, and have agreed to adhere to the rules set forth in this Privacy Policy.
Section 3 - Managing Your Data
3.1 Because your creations are stored only on your device, you can delete them at any time inside the App or by deleting the App's data.
3.2 You can stop all processing by the App easily by uninstalling it, using the standard uninstall process available on your device.
Section 4 - Business Transfers
4.1 Data about you may be disclosed as part of any merger, acquisition, or sale of company assets. In the unlikely event of an insolvency, bankruptcy or receivership, data may also be transferred as a business asset. Given that the App collects no personal data, in practice this would only concern anonymous purchase records.
Section 5 - Children
5.1 We do not use the App to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13. The App does not collect personal data from anyone, including children. If a parent or guardian believes their child has provided us with data, please contact us and we will delete or anonymize it within a reasonable time.
Section 6 - Security
6.1 We are concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your personal data. The strongest safeguard in LocalPix is architectural: your content never leaves your device, so it cannot be breached on our side. For the minimal purchase data processed by Apple and RevenueCat, physical, electronic and procedural safeguards apply. Please be aware that no security system can prevent all potential security breaches.
Section 7 - Face Data Collection and Usage
Our app does not collect, store, or process any face data. Specifically:
Collection of Face Data - The app does not capture, analyze, or retain facial recognition data or any biometric identifiers. Photos you edit with AI Edit are processed entirely on your device and are never transmitted.
Planned Uses of Face Data - No face data is collected or utilized for any purposes within the app.
Third-Party Sharing - Since the app does not collect face data, there is no sharing of such data with third parties.
Storage of Face Data - As face data is not collected, there is no storage of this data on our servers or any third-party systems.
Retention of Face Data - The app does not retain face data, as none is collected.
Disclosure in Privacy Policy - The app's collection, use, disclosure, sharing, and retention of face data is clearly stated here: "Our app does not collect, process, or store any face data."
By adhering to these principles, we ensure user privacy and maintain compliance with App Store policies.
