Local Organic Growers

About us

We are a not-for-profit Community Interest Company based in Watford aiming to grow organic produce for our local community with the help of volunteers.  We manage 5 allotments, 4 at Brightwell and 1 at Timberlake.  Our goal is to grow organic produce for our volunteers and for local charities, and to provide a model of urban/suburban food production.  We have already donated substantial amounts of produce to the local community since the project began in 2021. 

We are fully committed to organic principles and have already demonstrated that we can achieve impressive yields.  We want to keep expanding and we welcome all those who share our values and want to learn more about sustainable food production.
