Local Famous Records is an independent DIY record label built on a small network and community of musicians from the DFW area who share resources to help each other create the art we want to create.

Each artist is independent. We collaborate, work together and use our shared platform and network to support and spotlight each other and others in our community who are producing, or have produced, great art.

Additionally, we see making music and participating in the scene as a form of local cultural production. 

As such, it is important to foster this production by providing spaces, physical and digital, where creation, interaction, and collaboration can happen for everyone, unconditionally. Our goal at LFR is to provide and support endeavors that do just that; 

and to hopefully inspire others to create their own spaces, projects and platforms that continue to foster local culture and local artists.
