2024 Western Kentucky Fishing Tournament

The Western Kentucky Fishing Tournament was held August 17, 2024 on Kentucky Lake. The tournament was an overnighter. Pre tournament potluck meal was delicious. Special thanks to Joel Daugherty for the pulled pork and ribs. There were plenty of prizes to go around and everyone enjoyed a good Cracker Barrel breakfast following the tournament.

Tournament winners were:

Mike Autry and Mike Bishop- total weight of 14.38 lbs.
Kevin Armstrong and Nick Daugherty- total weight of 14.34 lbs.
Barry Daugherty and Joe Daugherty / tied with Victor Woeltz

Eastern kentucky tournament

June 22, 2024 at Cave Run Lake Morehead, Kentucky. Thanks to Brother Chris Heaberlin for putting together the tournament.

Boats launched at 6:00 p.m. from Alfrey Boat ramp and returned at 2:00 a.m.

All participants enjoyed a delicious pre launch meal of BBQ and sides prepared by Calvin Parsons.

First Place Team: Don Sammons and Mike Autry- 5 fish @ 4.89 lbs.

Second Place Team: Jeff Mabry and Mark Mabry- 2 fish @ 4.51 lbs.

Third Place Team: Mike Knipp and Ricky Campbell- 5 fish @ 2.48 lbs.

Biggest Bass: Mark Mabry @ 2.88 lbs.
