These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Loan Ledger mobile application ("the App"), provided by [Sukhmander Singh] ("the Developer", "we", "us"). By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
Loan Ledger is a personal bookkeeping/ledger tool. It lets you record loans you personally give to or take from people you already know (customers, family, or friends), calculate interest, EMIs, or daily-collection amounts, and keep a private ledger of the resulting transactions.
Loan Ledger does not lend, disburse, hold, transfer, or process any money itself. All money you record as given or received is exchanged directly between you and the other person, by whatever means you choose (cash, bank transfer, UPI, etc.), entirely outside the App. The App only helps you keep track of and calculate the terms of arrangements you have already made. The Developer is not a bank, NBFC, lender, or financial institution, and does not operate a lending business through this App.
You are solely responsible for:
the accuracy of the amounts, interest rates, and terms you enter;
the legality of any lending or borrowing arrangement you record, including compliance with any interest-rate caps, licensing, or registration requirements that may apply to money-lending activity under the laws of your state or country;
any disputes, non-payment, or disagreements with the people whose transactions you record — the Developer has no involvement in, and no ability to enforce, any loan or repayment.
The App is a record-keeping convenience, not financial, legal, or tax advice. If you are lending money as an ongoing business, consult a qualified professional about any licensing or regulatory requirements that may apply to you.
Your accounts, transactions, and any KYC photos you add are stored locally on your device. See our [Privacy Policy] for full details on data handling, optional Google Account backup, and permissions used.
Loan Ledger is free to use for up to 5 accounts. A Premium subscription, purchased through Google Play Billing, unlocks unlimited accounts.
Subscriptions are billed and managed entirely through Google Play. We do not receive or store your payment card details.
Subscriptions automatically renew at the price and interval shown at the time of purchase, until cancelled.
You can cancel any time via Google Play (Play Store app → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions). Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Premium access until the end of the period you already paid for.
Because payment is processed by Google Play, refund requests are handled according to Google Play's own refund policies, not directly by the Developer. You can request a refund through Google Play's official refund request process, typically available for a limited window after purchase.
We do not issue partial refunds for a subscription period that has already started, except where required by applicable consumer protection law.
If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at the email below and we will assist you in raising the matter with Google Play, in addition to any direct request you make to Google.
The App is provided "as is." While we aim for accurate interest and EMI calculations, we do not guarantee the App will be error-free or uninterrupted, and we are not liable for any financial loss, missed payment, or dispute arising from your use of the App or from arrangements you choose to record in it.
We may update these Terms from time to time, for example to reflect new features. Continued use of the App after a change means you accept the revised Terms. The "Last updated" date above will reflect the latest revision.
