Prayer Up The Tower
We believe in praying out and about in Blackpool and holding times of prayer that are strategic, authorative and sensitive.
Each month, from 0930 on the second Saturday, we are privileged to get the chance to pray at the top of Blackpool Tower for our 'Prayer Up The Tower', a time to pray for Blackpool and the Fylde Coast. You are welcome to join us, but please arrive in good time so we do not to disrupt the operation of The Blackpool Tower.
We meet on the promenade near to the entrance to the dungeon ready to go to the top of the tower (weather dependent) and spend up to 90 minutes in prayer there. Please be aware that spaces are limited.

Walking up (and down!) The Big One
I'd like to thank all those who supported me on this challenge to raise funds for Refreshment UK (charity number 1153542). The team at Blackpool Pleasure Beach were absolutely fantastic and very understanding, I must confess that although I do not like heights I found walking up The Big One strangely easy! There was one incident with a gust of wind but I carried on (otherwise those behind me could not continue). At the summit (235ft) the views are tremendous and it really is a privilege to see Blackpool and the beautiful surrounding area's from this vantage point. I would highly recommend others to take part in this challenge, maybe for the same cause?
