Greetings Loved Ones,
It is so important to know you are redeemed from sin, in John 8:36 we read the following statement from the lips of Jesus:-
'So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.'.
We are free from both the guilt and the life-controlling power of sin.
When Jesus died on the cross he set us free from all sin, past, present and future (Hebrews 10:17).
Take a look at Psalm 103:3 which reads:-
'who (God) forgives all your iniquity, who heals all your diseases,'.
This verse often refers to curing someone from a physical sickness, but it can also be used as a metaphor for restoring the moral and spiritual life.
Knowing that we are saved, and healing go together. It is our inheritance as a child of God to live in health. The enemy will tell you are not worthy to approach The Lord for healing - this a lie. As this verse says because we are saved we have the promise to be healed from all diseases. So today approach The Lord boldly in prayer and the Lord will touch your body with healing power.
Brothers from the USA and Cornwall
In October 2022 we welcomed three amazing brothers in Christ to Lancashire, Ben Culbertson (Theo Ministries) from Cornwall, Bill Hodge (GCU Academy) and Brian 'BMAN' McKay (VBC International) both from Michigan, USA.
As part of their tour of the UK we were invited by Refreshment UK to 'Prayer Up The Tower' where after some time in prayer Bill sounded the shofar which could be heard all around Blackpool!
Walking up (and down!) The Big One
I'd like to thank all those who supported Pete on this fund raising challenge to 'Walk The Big One'.
He reports that "The team at Blackpool Pleasure Beach were absolutely fantastic and very understanding, I must confess that although I do not like heights I found walking up The Big One strangely easy! There was one incident with a gust of wind but I carried on (otherwise those behind me could not continue). At the summit (235ft) the views are tremendous and it really is a privilege to see Blackpool and the beautiful surrounding area's from this vantage point. I would highly recommend others to take part in this challenge."
