Meet the Teachers

Hi, my name is Julie Fireman and I am the head teacher here at Little Lamb Nursery School. I have 2 grown daughters and 4 fur babies, a dog, a rabbit, and two cats. I am a 1995 graduate of Schuylkill Valley High School and in 2013 graduated from Berks Technical Institute with an Associates’ Degree in Early  Childhood Education. I have been working at Little Lamb since 2017. In my spare time I enjoy volunteering at Wk&S railroad, fostering kittens and spending time with my nieces.

Hello! My name is Kelly Myers and I am the assistant teacher here at Little Lamb Nursery School. I grew up on Long Island in NY and moved to Pennsylvania in 1996 to attend Penn State Berks. I graduated with a BA in Culture Studies. I then attended Albright College and received my PA Teaching Certification and Masters in Elementary Education. I have taught both 6th grade and Kindergarten locally. When I became a mom in 2008, I took a break from teaching. I have two teenagers who are currently attending Schuylkill Valley HS. In my spare time, I enjoy crocheting, volunteering at a local cat shelter with my daughter and cuddling with my cats (and hubby) while watching movies. I am so excited to be at Little Lamb teaching again!
