1. Acceptance of Terms By downloading, accessing, or using Gemma Local API Server ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.
2. License and Use
We grant you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to download, install, and use the App strictly in accordance with these Terms.
The App is designed to allow you to run supported Artificial Intelligence and Large Language Models (LLMs) locally on your device. You are solely responsible for ensuring you possess the legal right to download and utilize any model file you load into the App.
3. User Responsibilities
You agree not to use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
You are solely responsible for the content generated by the models running on your local server. We are not liable for any output generated, including but not limited to inaccurate, offensive, or inappropriate content.
You are responsible for securing the network access to the API hosted by your device. We are not liable for unauthorized access to the models running on your device if you expose the server to an unsecured network.
4. Subscriptions and Payments
The App offers a free version with runtime limitations.
"Premium" subscriptions (monthly or yearly) are available via Google Play Billing.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled in your Google Play Store account settings at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
We do not process payments directly and are not responsible for billing issues. Please contact Google Play support for payment inquiries.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding the operation of the App or the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any model inference generated by the App.
6. Limitation of Liability To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the App.
7. Modifications to the App and Terms We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the App (or any part thereof) with or without notice. We may also revise these Terms from time to time. The most current version will be available within the App or on our support website.
8. Governing Law These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
