Koperasi Landskap Kelapa Sawit Sabah Berhad (LKSS) was established in response to Malaysia's initiative to make Malaysian Sustainable Palm Oil (MSPO) Certification mandatory for all oil palm growers. 

Recognising the challenges faced by Independent Smallholders (ISH) and Medium Size Growers (MSG), a group of growers in Tawau formed LKSS to provide collective support through the Group Certification approach. 

Today, LKSS continues to help growers achieve sustainable certification, beginning with MSPO and later expanding its services to include RSPO Independent Smallholder Certification.
