Future Agricultural Resource Management and Water Innovations for a Sustainable Europe

FARMWISE is 6.4M EUR research and innovation project that commenced in January 2024. We are 20 partners from across Europe (from Spain to Finland to Ukraine) working together to solve water issues related to agriculture on the continental scale.

FARMWISE is funded by the European Union's Horizon Europe programme (GA#101135533). Our participation is made possible through support by the Swiss State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation through its transitional measures.

My team is in charge of numerical modelling of agri-eco-hydrological/hydrogeological processes. We are testing varied strategies for limiting the impacts of agriculture on water resources. The investigations cover several future climate scenarios and span across all European climate zones and soil types.
