About our events

The Club is on hiatus; there are no further events scheduled at this time. You can register your interest using our form to be notified when the Club is active again.

To take part in an event, you can register using our form. After you register, we will message to confirm the event details. Please note that you may not be able to take part if the event reaches full capacity.

You do not need to know the rules for any of the games we play. Some of our games may be difficult to play for non-Japanese speakers, as the text on the games’ components are Japanese and translations are not available. Before you register for an event, please check the event's language requirements, or write to us if you are unsure about a game's accessibility.

Play "Gun and Gun" (ガンナガン) and other Japanese card games!

We will provide translation sheets for the games at this event; however, we will be playing with Japanese copies of the games. No knowledge of Japanese is required to use the translation sheets. Beginners welcome.

This event is suitable for both English and Japanese speaking players.
There is no need to bring your own copy of the game; Japanese and English versions of Sakura Arms will be available to play at this event.

Beginners are welcome.

There is a table fee of £5 payable to Spellbound Games at the start of the event.

• Fee: There is no fee for this event. £5 to cover the table fee. More details will be provided after completing the registration form.

Play Sakura Arms (桜降る代に決闘を) and other card / board games from Japan!

This event is suitable for both English and Japanese speaking players.
There is no need to bring your own copy of the games; the Japanese version of Sakura Arms, with English translations, will be available to play at this event. Japanese and English versions of Sakura Arms will be available to play at this event.
Beginners are welcome.

There is a table fee of £5 to attend the event, which is being hosted by Spellbound Games. We will provide payment details after you register for the event.

You must email the Club 48 hours before the event if you are no longer able to attend. Cancellations after this time may be non-refundable.

Update 2025-05-23: We are no longer able to use Spellbound Games as our event venue. We will not be able to play with English copies of Sakura Arms as previously advertised. However, English translations will be provided for the Japanese version of Sakura Arms. There will no longer be a table fee for this event.
