Hi! I'm Lizzy Teryoshin, a third-year undergrad at the University of California, San Diego.
I have interests in theoretical/computational physics and pure mathematics. I used to work with Lena Koslover, doing research in the physics of cell transport. I spent a brief time at Carnegie Observatories doing computational research on core-collapse supernovae with David Vartanyan.
Nowadays, I spend a lot of time doing pure math. I did a summer REU on commutative algebra at CIMAT, run by the University of Nebraska- Lincoln. In the last two years, I have been learning operator algebras and doing research with Sri Kunnawalkam Elayavalli, David Gao, and Greg Patchell.
I am also a head steward for the UC Academic Student Employee Union, UAW 4811.
