Lizzie has been tutoring my son for over a year now!!! He absolutely loves her!! Which in turn means he now enjoys his learning and has come on leaps and bounds, with his school noticing the difference too.

In a very short period of time Lizzie has helped my daughter enormously with preparation for secondary school entrance exams. My daughter has really enjoyed the one on one time which she has spent with Lizzie who has done a great job in preparing her for English, maths and verbal reasoning exams. Each session Lizzie had a plan of what she wanted to cover based on each school's specific entrance requirements and on my daughter individual needs; she made the learning fun and flexed the way she taught my daughter based on her feedback and her abilities. I would have no hesitation in recommending Lizzie to others. Thank you Lizzie - we will miss your weekly tutoring sessions!

Lizzie played a key and important role in getting our youngest son through the key "COVID" year. As he was studying remotely with her, we were able to witness and enjoy her approach and methods fully ourselves. We couldn't have hoped for a more committed, enthusiastic, conscientious and intelligent person to help our son at this time. She was always one step ahead and coming up with creative ways to make learning for our son engaging and interesting. Our son is very dyslexic and Lizzie worked hard to keep his motivation and confidence up at a key chapter in his learning journey. Repeatedly Lizzie set work that my husband found so interesting, it took quite an effort to get him to get back to his own work!

Lizzie Clay taught my son in years 5 and 6. My son started year 5, hugely lacking in confidence and belief in his abilities. Lizzie helped him grow and flourish into a confident, successful learner. My son is a worrier, but with Lizzie's preparation and support, SATs week was calm and relaxed for him, achieving good results. Lizzie Clay taught both my son when he was in Year 5 and my daughter when she was in Year 5 and Year 6. In my opinion she is an outstanding teacher. She shows such passion in what she does and always goes above and beyond to get the best out of every child.
Lizzie is always organised, prepared and her lessons were well structured and I truly believe that she gave both my children the head start that they needed for secondary school. I would without any hesitation highly recommend Lizzie.

Lizzie taught our son in year 6, his final year in junior school. She is the best teacher either of our children have ever had. Lizzie is energetic, patient, calm, kind, enthusiastic and fun. Covid should have made this a disruptive year, but Lizzie worked hard to devise interesting ways to bring topics to life during lockdown. Lizzie was a huge support to our son and we are forever grateful. Do not hesitate to engage Lizzie as a tutor for your child!
