Lizzie Buchanan

I am currently a postdoc at The University of Iowa. My research is in knot theory, and I am part of the RTG Topology and Geometry group, working with Keiko Kawamuro. 

I will be applying for academic jobs in Fall 2025. 

Before coming to UIowa I received my Ph.D. at Dartmouth College (advisor: Vladimir Chernov), participated in the Smith College Math Postbacc Program, and studied math and theatre at Hamilton College.
