Onion Soup was a video/performance piece form Wen-Hao, Li in 2014. The first step to make onion soup is to chop a whole bunch of onions. The cook-loving artist often makes cuisines by cutting an onion first as the base flavor. The spiciness and sweetness are both activated within the ups and downs of the knife. Onion Soup were composed by the artist chopping countless onions in different places in Taipei. With the flavors and tears, the onions speak the stories of the artist.

The recreation of this work at NCCU not only marks its return after nearly a decade but it will also be carried out in a guerrilla-style manner popping up in various locations around the university.
