《愛人》一計畫靈感取自鄧麗君在日發展時期的歌曲。迥異於鄧麗君華語樂壇形象的溫婉甜美，鄧麗君日文歌曲時常訴說第三者或情婦的故事。

在處於失衡的情感權力關係下，李文皓與林意淨好奇女性的處境如何行動。

同理，我們重新詮釋鄧麗君在黨國體制下，國家與鄧麗君之間如何互動以建構鄧麗君的愛國敘事形象。

Lover is a project inspired by the legendary Taiwanese singer Teresa Teng, especially her music in Japanese. Different from her sweet music in Mandarin, Teng’s Japanese songs are usually associated with lonely and sad mistress.

Being in an imbalance relationship, the artists are curious what these women do. Also in an imbalance position, we are intrigued by the political dimension of Teresa Teng. How the narratives of the patriotic singer, Teresa Teng, was made up and how she reacted with the dictatorship.
