We meet at the Liverpool Nordic Church, 138 Park Lane, Liverpool L1 8HG. It’s easy to reach us:
By foot / public transport:
7 minutes from Liverpool One Bus Station
11 minutes from Liverpool Central railway station
17 minutes from Liverpool Lime Street
By car:
There is a small car park behind the church on Upper Pownall Street (access via Tabley Street)
The Nordic Church is an old building with a number of stairs, so we are not necessarily accessible to those with mobility issues. Please check with us before your arrival if you have any concerns.
EVERYONE'S WELCOME
Everyone is welcome at the Liverpool Finnish School — adults, families, complete beginners, and advanced speakers alike.
Despite being kindly hosted by the Nordic Church, we are a non-religious organisation, and people of all backgrounds and beliefs are welcome.
You don’t need to register in advance, you can simply come along to our next class.
Not interested in joining the class? That’s absolutely fine! Our school days are also a great opportunity to meet new people, and you’re welcome to come along just for a coffee and a chat.

HOW IT WORKS - CLASS DAYS
Classes are held approximately every other Saturday from September to May. Our school days normally starts at 2pm and lasts until 4.30pm, but occasionally start times may vary — please check our latest updates before each session.
When you arrive at the Nordic Church, please ring the bell at the front of the building and wait for someone to come open the door, then walk up one flight of stairs into the main space where we eat and socialise.
Lessons include a break around 3pm. During the break, we serve coffee/tea and a light snack with sweet and savoury options. Vegetarian options are also available. If you have any other dietary requirements, please get in touch with us.

Adult lessons are £10
Children's lessons are £3
Lessons include a coffee/tea and snack.
Even if you are not planning to join our classes, you’re still welcome to come along! Coffee and a snack only £5.
