What's Next?

• Expand live captioning services to rural areas 

• Increase number of service providers to adequately meet demand

• Increase availability of on-site service providers

• Help sites meet financial costs of hiring human service providers 

• Recruit service providers of more diverse backgrounds

• Regularly assess the quality of auto-captions and share that information widely

• Increase access to live captioning services for BIPOC users

• Regularly ask users about their experiences with live captioning services, both produced automatically or by humans
