Little Treasures began in 1989 with previous owner Miss Helen and her husband Mr. Al. Their daughters Miss Lory and Miss Amy have since taken over business operations leading to 33 total years of child care service. Little Treasures has always been family owned and operated. We are forever thankful to those of you who share your "TREASURE" with us. Remember us as loving you.
Outdoor Play Areas
Below are images of our 6 classrooms here at Little Treasures. Each room is equipped with classroom supplies, toys, and caring teachers to keep your child engaged while also having a fun experience!
Our infants are in the Dreamer Room. They are dreaming and preparing for a better tomorrow. We realize in the infant room it is of utmost importance to meet the individual needs of each child to have their day flow as smoothly as possible.
Our toddlers are in the Adventurers Room. They are busy discovering that every day is an adventure. The toddlers are beginning to follow a group routine including story time, circle time, craft time, and more.
The two year old's are in the Explores Room. They are constantly exploring the world around them. Some things that we work on at this age are identifying colors, shapes, animals, and parts of the body as well as some letters and numbers. Finally, they are enjoy exercising and having fun, which is what being a child is all about!
The three year old's are in the Thinkers Room. They are thinking of new ideas and learning ways to make the world a better place. The Thinkers continue to learn colors, numbers, names, addresses, and phone numbers. They enjoy a busy day with a routine that leaves the children full of knowledge and desire to learn more.
The four year old's are in the Enchanters Room. They are continuously discovering the enchantment of life. This is the room where the children continue to prepare for Kindergarten. They practice upper and lower case letters, numbers, spelling, writing first and last names, as well as other various concepts. In January we will evaluate/test your child and meet with Kindergarten bound parents to discuss your Childs progress.
The before and after school children are in the Starquesters Room. They have gone to Elementary School and come to LTCCH to share these experiences and to continue to learn and grow. They will share friendships with the other children and many have siblings that attend as well. The Starquesters will have the chance to work on homework, as well as, arts and crafts to quickly and enjoyably spend their few hours a day with us.
