We are Dr. Kady & Eddie Donaghey, proud owners of Little Rattlers since 2015. With a deep-rooted belief in the power of early childhood education, we strive to provide a safe, engaging, and enriching space where children can thrive.

Dr. Kady Donaghey has dedicated her career to education, beginning as an agriculture teacher before serving as an assistant principal, principal, and now a district administrator in a local school district. Her expertise in curriculum development, leadership, and student success helps ensure Little Rattlers operates with the highest standards of care and learning.

Eddie Donaghey is a high school teacher in a neighboring district with a passion for mentoring students and preparing them for the future. His dedication to education extends beyond the classroom, influencing the supportive and structured environment we provide at Little Rattlers.

Since purchasing Little Rattlers Preschool & Childcare in 2015, our mission has been to create a daycare that feels like home—where children feel safe, valued, and inspired to explore and learn. We take pride in partnering with families to build a strong educational foundation for every child. Eddie and Kady have three children, Raeleigh, Zane and Leyton that attend Tolar ISD Schools.

At Little Rattlers Preschool & Childcare, we are thrilled to introduce Beth Stracener, our dedicated Director. A mother of three beautiful girls—Macie B, Madi Tay, and McKinnleigh Jo—and married to Christian Stracener, Beth has been a valued member of the Little Rattlers team for 5 years, bringing her experience, warmth, and commitment to every child and family she works with.

Beth’s journey in early childhood education is driven by a love for helping young learners grow and thrive. As a parent, she understands the importance of providing a nurturing and safe environment for children, and she strives to create just that at Little Rattlers.

With a strong belief in the power of play-based learning and fostering a sense of curiosity, Beth ensures that every child who walks through our doors feels supported, valued, and excited to learn.

We are incredibly fortunate to have her lead our team, and her dedication to the success and well-being of both our children and staff shines through in everything she does.

At Little Rattlers Preschool & Childcare, we are proud to honor Rosemary Mayfield as our Director Emeritus. With over 30 years of experience in elementary education, Rosemary has dedicated her life to nurturing young minds and creating enriching learning environments.

From 2018 to 2023, she served as the director of Little Rattlers, leading with passion, expertise, and an unwavering commitment to early childhood education. Under her leadership, our center flourished, providing a warm, engaging, and high-quality learning experience for every child in our care.

Although she has transitioned from her role as director, Rosemary remains an active and valued member of our Little Rattlers family. You will often see her supporting our classrooms, assisting in the front office, and continuing to share her knowledge and love for education with our children and staff.

Her dedication, wisdom, and caring heart continue to shape the success of Little Rattlers Preschool & Childcare, and we are forever grateful for her contributions.

At Little Rattlers Preschool & Childcare, we are proud to have Angela Sloan as our dedicated Office Manager. Angela plays an essential role in keeping our center running smoothly, managing both the office operations and the food program with exceptional attention to detail and care.

With her organizational skills and friendly demeanor, Angela ensures that our families and staff have everything they need for a seamless experience. From handling day-to-day office tasks to coordinating meals that nourish and fuel our children, she works behind the scenes to make sure everything runs efficiently.

Angela’s commitment to providing a supportive environment for both our team and families shines through in everything she does. We are incredibly grateful for her hard work and dedication to Little Rattlers, and her contributions help make our preschool and childcare center a place where children can thrive!
