Class mascots:

Each class - design group - designs a design mascot that will accompany them during the implementation of their design tasks. We place the designed and made mascots on the Padlet. From among the collected proposals, by voting, we choose a common project mascot.

Be creative-design a project mascot.

1. Videoconference - At the beginning of the project, teachers organize the first online meeting on the eTwinning platform. Students see each other, greet each other, play a simple color sequencing game, and then sing farewell songs in English or in their native language. For the next online meeting, teachers will prepare specific activities to focus on. These activities will include painting pictures together (miro,), telling about their works and selected creators, etc. At the end of the project, students have another videoconference session, during which they present their works created during the project, talk about the artists they met and say goodbye to their colleagues.

2. Communication Videos - Children will spend a lot of time creating their images. That is why they will prepare films in which they will show other children their effects of artistic activities.

3. At the beginning of the project, the students create their mascot. They post it on the Padlet board or TwinSpace pages. They post comments on the work done. They publish selected projects in Canva as competition proposals for the mascot of the project. They vote for the most interesting idea.

4. Shared calendar Each class - the project group creates an image for one month (twelve photos are needed), therefore, depending on the number of partners, each group may create more than one photo. Students can use any useful techniques and materials: crayons, glue, glitter, photo collages to illustrate artistic design activities. Illustrations must be in A4 format. Once the documents are ready, teachers scan and manipulate the photos using Canva (which offers free calendar templates).

5. Working in class groups, students create their own album. Each group prepares posters and short films about the artists they meet. The teachers then put all the work together in one page on the TwinSpace, devoted to the information obtained. Each partner facility is getting ready to present one artist. Then all these presentations combine into a common compendium of knowledge about GREAT ARTISTS.

Working in project groups, students with the help of teachers create a common gallery of works created as part of the project.

Assessment of students

To find out if the children enjoyed the project and collaborated with peers from different countries, teachers conduct a simple survey.

Assessment of teachers

At the end of the project, teachers prepare a questionnaire for themselves to find out what worked and what could be improved in the project, what were their favorite activities in the whole project, whether the project objectives were achieved and whether the cooperation was good, both in their own schools and and with partner schools.

Children solve tasks prepared using the LearningApps, Kahoot or Nearpod tools to check what they learned during the project.

Documentation

All teachers should have access to the project plan in order to edit it. Therefore, it is a good idea to use the online documentation application of your choice, for example in the form of a joint document that can be easily edited.

A preliminary project plan with predefined activities and deadlines is posted on a separate TwinSpace page.

Each activity in the project has its page with relevant information. Pages should be clearly designed, with a title at the top of the page, a short description of the task, and clearly embedded links, surveys, photos, etc.

In the event of multiple joint activities under one main activity, each page may have its subpages in the same format.

All documents, films, photos, files and recordings created as part of the project should be sent to appropriately grouped folders in the 'materials' section and made available on the TwinSpace. All online meetings, chats and forum discussions are documented and made available on the respective pages. Teachers should keep the TwinSpace pages up to date.

Dissemination

1. Raising awareness among school staff and parents.

Teachers and students together organize an Open Door Day at the school and invite all parents and school staff. Students participate in creating simple presentations of their favorite activities in the project. The teacher shares the project results and its impact on students' learning and development. Children tell about the project, what they liked best and what they learned. Children can also present works done independently and in cooperation with partners, such as photos, posters, calendars, cards, etc. Then a question and answer session can be organized with parents and school staff, where the teacher comments on specific joint activities and answers any questions.

2. eTwinning corner at school

Students and teachers create a project corner at school, where it will be possible to present drawings, materials, posters or worksheets - both their own and those received from their project partners.

3. Social networks

Teachers can use the various websites available to disseminate the project and make it available to a wider community. This will allow both the project itself and the European school networks to be promoted through eTwinning.

4. Design at home

At the beginning of the project, students from all partner schools are involved in creating a cooperation calendar. Teachers print a calendar for each student to take home.
