January 22, 1947 = Lions Club agrees to finish fundraising the rest of the cost to build hut
January 23, 1947 = 2 lots are purchased on West George Street (current location) for a total of $100
February-April 1947 - Lions hold many paper collections to raise funds to help build the Little House
June-August 1947 - Paper drives continue, ad for volunteer workers to construct has been place, and many national groups turn out to help build the Little House
Volunteers begin to dig to begin construction on the Little House
August 1947 - Construction begins on the Little House
September 1947 - Construction progresses on the Little House
January 24, 1948 - Little House construction is completed
January-February 1948 - Girl Scouts begin utilizing the Little House
February 1948 - Girl Scout Association (later known as Little House Association) begins to draw up constitution and by-laws
March 1948 - A President is declared for the Girl Scout Association (later known as Little House Association)
March 19 - Card Game Fundraiser to buy furnishings
Council Chair speaks regarding all new activities that can be utilized by Girl Scouts
