Little House Association of South River

The Little House Association of South River is an organization, separate from Girl Scouts which is dedicated to the ongoing operation and maintenance of the “Little House”.

We all like to think we live in a place where people care about others, where its safe to keep the doors unlocked and let the kids play around outside. In these troubled times, community isn't always what its supposed to be.

We are fortunate to have the "Little House," a place for children to come together in a safe and nurturing environment. Girls ages 5 through 18 join Girl Scout Troops in South River, Milltown and East Brunswick, New Jersey and in partnership with committed adult volunteers participate in meetings and events held at the Little House. These activities help them develop strong values, leadership skills, social conscience, and convictions about their own potential and self-worth that will serve them all of their lives.

​ We are a volunteer 501(c)(3) tax-exempt non-profit organization, EIN: 61-1529217, and are funded solely through donations and money from fundraising events throughout the year. The money is used to pay the cost of heating, lighting and water in the building as well as general repairs, upgrades and maintenance.
