Little Blossoms Virginia operates Monday to Friday , 8:00am—4:30pm.
My service provides a unique learning experience through a routine tailored to children from birth to 5years of age.
The children will be included in school pick up of my own children each day (after 4pm), providing an opportunity to engage with the community.
As a Mum, I strive to create a work life balance, to achieve that I aim to be taking a total of 4 weeks leave planned each year, including 1 week of school holidays each term and 2 weeks over Christmas families will be given at least 2 weeks’ notice prior to my leave of absence. Alternate care will need to be arranged during this time. Families are consulted during planning stages of school holidays and we work collaboratively to adjust bookings during this time.Public Holidays are available at the request and discretion of myself.
I aim to achieve intimate and meaningful interactions with children in my care through small group learning which allows for individual learning programs designed for each child. Please keep in mind this ratio allows for 3 permanent bookings each day.
The children have the benefit of experiencing regular outings and learning experiences beyond the home environment. With parental permission the children will be taken on nature walks, to playgrounds, excursions based on their interests and community events.
Families may be eligible to receive CCS off of the hourly rate of $16.50 (inclusive of scheme fees). Families have flexible booking options of part time of full time and only being charged the hours used. All inclusive, Little Blossoms Virginia takes care of everything your child needs, providing nappies, wipes and Catering to all the children’s nutrition needs via a carefully designed menu following the ‘get up and grow’ nutrition guidelines. So all you need to bring is formula or breast milk (as required) and a change of clothes.
I aim to make transitioning to care a positive experience for both the child and the family. Working with the family to provide a consistent care routine that is familiar and fosters a secure attachment.
Kindyhub is a secure, web-based software platform for early childhood education services that streamlines documentation, reporting, and communication between educators and parents, allowing parents to see real-time updates, photos, and learning progress via a mobile app, while educators can easily track development and link to learning frameworks like the EYLF. It serves as a central hub for managing daily activities, observations, and sharing educational milestones to improve parent engagement and learning outcomes for children. The learning curriculum is underlined by the Early Years Learning Framework for children under school age. This framework contains 5 learning outcomes essential for early development. These outcomes include developmental areas such as; well being, identity, connecting with and contributing to the world, confidence and involved learning and effective communication.
Daily Reporting outlining learning and interests as well as daily intake and sleep requirements!
Each day families receive a daily report that provides details about all the activities children engaged in, their interests, photo's and daily intake charts, charting nappies, toileting, sleep and meals. Each term families will receive an individual observation report outlining important learning and development that has occurred beginning with a goal, followed by observations through out the term and finishing with a evaluation of learning. It also has detailed links to learning frameworks and theorist. The observation report is a detailed learning assessment, an ongoing document added to each fortnight based on your child’s strengths and developments and evaluated at the end of each term.
Your child will have a personal profile outlining the learning outcomes that your child is meeting and displaying any photo’s and videos of your child all linked to EYLF outcomes and national quality frameworks.
The learning curriculum will have a strong focus on habits of the mind and emotion well being, this will be readily achieved through strong secure attachments and relationships between myself and the children.
The Program is located within the Kindyhub app, outlines the daily interestes of the children and its source. Viewing of the program is electronic only due to its ever evolving format.
