About Me

A little about me

My name is Mary Harris and I am an Ofsted registered childminder based in Aston, Sheffield. You can find me on the map below. I live with my husband and 2 daughters and offer a friendly, happy home from home environment for your child.

I was an Early Years teacher for three years before having my eldest daughter. It was then that I decided to become a childminder. I volunteered and worked in schools for seven years and I am extremely passionate about Early Years Education.

My qualifications include:

• Qualified Teacher Status (Early Years)

• BSc (Hons) Psychology

I have completed the following statutory courses for childminders:

• Childminder Pre-Registration course

• Paediatric First Aid

• Child Protection

• Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering

• DBS Approved

I pride myself in upholding high standards in all of these areas. In addition, I have attended recent training and development courses relevant to the Early Years.
