I want to clarify, I mean English class. Not English, or anything literature related otherwise.
So, you're probably wondering; Hadwyn, why do you hate English? English class is plenty useful. Like, umm... Lets see, uhhh...
I'm gonna stop you right there. Yes, it is hard for my Autistic ass to sit in a classroom for 1+ hours, but English, English?
English is a completely worthless class. Whether or not the need for people to study algebra or functions, when there are actually computers, let alone, A.I that can do those calculations, can be up for debate, there is zero defendable reason why English class should even exist.
I'm going to state firmly that I do believe in teaching conventional English, like grammar, spelling, formal (Hell, even at this point, as much as I hate MLA citation procedure, yes, there is at least a small, [Small, but it is there] reason why It should be used.) things and whatnot. But only to that extent, is English class useful.
I vividly remember in sixth grade when I walked into English class and thought, really, we're still doing this?
From sixth grade and the grades that followed into, finally, my senior year, I asked myself that question every day. On rare occasions, I would ask other people. (Never my teacher, because I'm not an idiot.)
I got the same answer. Something along the lines of: It will help you in the future if you know the meaning behind documents.
Blah, blah, blah. Shut up.
